He is an experienced advocate that has appeared in all Courts up to and including the Court of Appeal, with a number of cases being reported. He maintains knowledge of a number of disciplines that mutually benefit one another.

In relation to his background, he has experience of mechanical engineering, concepts and design. He also has particular experience of construction disputes, including standard form contracts and drafting Scott Schedules.

His criminal practice is almost exclusively defence, and he has acquired considerable experience through defending serious multi-handed fraud, deception and violent offences before the Crown Court.

Aside from Court appearances, he has a considerable paper practice, drafting Statements of Case and advising upon merits and quantum. The prison law work often leads to advice and drafting for the purposes of judicial review.
