Main Areas of Practice

Dr Bond is experienced in all aspects of criminal work and has a growing practice encompassing the Crown, Magistrate and Youth Courts. She has both defence and prosecution experience. She completed a pupillage at 6 Kings Bench Chambers, London (Mr Amlot) before coming to Kings Bench Chambers. Her main interests include cases on violent crimes and POCA related offences.

She has a civil practice with experience in fast track trials in a variety of areas, including personal injury and road traffic.

She has a growing practice in family law with experience in Residence/Contact Orders, Interim Care Orders and Emergency Protection Orders.

She is a trained and accredited mediator and member of the Civil Mediation Council. Her practice in mediation has been adapted to civil, family as well as some criminal matters. She was awarded a Masters in Alternative Dispute Resolution in Switzerland 13 years ago and has completed training in negotiation with Stanford University. She has experience training individuals in group courses, overseas in Hong Kong as well as North America. Her volunteer work has spanned conflict resolution in diverse settings including conflict zones, multi- agency work in the criminal justice system as well as court matters.

Before coming to the Bar Dr Bond was a published criminologist, working on projects with Cambridge Institute of Criminology and the Home Office on Drugs and Violence. She published in journals on a wide range of violence and homicide topics. She has been trained in North America in profiling serial homicide and rape, and has completed data analysis courses and homicide workshops with the F.B.I.. She volunteered as the Director of a Human Rights organisation in London and is now Co- founder and Director of an organisation promoting Human Rights at the international level.
